Hospital Visits

Women who have been assaulted can contact us or have the medical staff call on your behalf at 727-3266 or 727-2828 for emergency clothing, supportive counselling and information.

You have the RIGHT to make your own choices and that right will be RESPECTED.

After I contact the Transitional Housing Support worker what happens next?
From your initial contact, together with the THSP worker, you will go over your situation and determine which way the program can best support and assist you.

How long can I receive assistance and support from the program?
For as long as you require support and assistance from the program.

Does the Transitional Housing Support Program assist women that have not stayed at, or accessed the shelter?
YES, the program assists women in transition in the community and surrounding areas.  We also provide information and support for women thinking about making transition in their lives.
