Provides safe, secure shelter to women and their children who have experienced violence. We recognize and respect the strength of each woman, and offer a supportive, non judgmental setting where a woman can consider all her options to make informed decisions for herself. We recognize the specific and distinct needs of children from violent homes.
It happens to many women, of all income & educational levels, in all social classes, of all religious and ethnic groups. An abuser learned to use violence as a way of expressing anger or frustration long before they met you.
The first sign of violence should be considered a danger signal. It is very likely it will happen again. The violence usually gets more frequent and severe.

Presently, we are a ten bed facility with four bedrooms. Women and their children may stay for up to six weeks.
